What an absolute great weekend! I just want to say that I DID do things that I never thought I would do. I never realized I had a choice to do it or not, and as it turns out, I'll never do it again. What am I talking about? Over the weekend we took our DEX group to Advenute Allience. It is a low and high ropes course area that is VERY well done. I've never been more scared in my life (other than putting the bat on my leg, I don't like needles much either)...but when I'm up 30-40 feet in the air and having to cross a telephone pole, you really never know what can happen. I'm sure my language got a little bad while I was up there. I'm just glad that it wasn't caught in video, just photo...could have been bad.
I think that overall, our group is great. There are a few things we need to work on as a group. Part of it is making the right decisions at the right times. Part of it is the realization that we are not the ultimate warrior. We can be confident without being cocky. And the other is taking in and supporting a team - not only the immediate team, but the entire team.
If there is anyone who actually reads this from there, then thanks to Jason and Bryan and Tiffany and Manny and Teniqua and all those I played poker with and an absolute blast with. It is just as much fun for me to go and hang out with you (from places other than Northwood) as it is to hang out with my group. But to my group, Joe, O'Brien, Brower, Lauren, Mena, Alex, Luis, Dahlila, and Ruby, and of course my partner Tresea - you guys were great - I hope you had as much fun as I did - even with some of the unneeded drama. That eliminated, it was a perfect trip!
I think I am out of time to write at this point...so until then...Stacy's Mom has got it goin on!!! I wish I had HER! LOL!
